Today Lois and I went to Brookfield Vineyard for a lovely morning tea with some friends. Mmmm. Nachos and coffee for me, English Breakfast tea and orange and almond cake for Lois. Yummo!
Brookfield is set up to cater for just a few, as in our case, or for much larger functions. A few months ago we attended a business function there which had about 70 guests or so, and we were comfortably cared for.
They also have heaps of tables and chairs in different areas of the property. Some outside, and some in different rooms inside the main building too. And the gifts, ornaments and other interesting things.... Wow. Far too many to recount. You'll have to see it for yourself.
Brookfield Vineyard also have various live musicians playing throughout the week as well as other acts. So you can enjoy the added atmosphere this creates while you enjoy a quiet meal, or just a drink or two.
Upstairs they have on display a model English Village and a model German Railway. Paid tours take you through these attractions.
As I have already said, you have to see it for yourself to fully appreciate it.
